Anki mode
helloquiz has a built-in feature similar to Anki that allows you to use spaced repetition to help memorise quizzes better. It uses Anki's own FSRS algorithm to schedule reviews. All you need to access this mode is a free helloquiz account.
Adding quizzes to your deck
To add a quiz to your "Anki" deck, navigate to the quiz's pade, and press the "add to deck" button next to the title. Note: you must be logged in for this button to be present. If you don't have an account yet, create one.
If you want to remove a quiz from your deck, you can do it on the same page, with the "remove from deck" button. This will keep your previous stats intact in case you ever want to re-add the quiz to your deck.
Reviewing quizzes
Navigate to the "anki mode" menu, which will list all quizzes that you have added to your "Anki" deck, alongside with how many questions are overdue, and whether or not you have any new questions.
From here, click on any quiz, and the review process will automatically begin. After correct each question, you will be able to tell the app how difficult you found it, and thus, set its next review date. Any incorrect answers will automatically give the question the most difficult rating. Once all your overdue questions are done, you can choose to continue reviewing questions, or return to the Anki mode homepage for a new quiz to review.
Changing your settings
You can adjust 4 different settings:
- Desired retention - the higher the number, the better you are going to remember the question, but the more you have to review it.
- Enable fuzzing - fuzzing allows you to ensure that questions reviewed after each other don't always "stick to" one another.
- Maximum interval - how many days have to pass between consecutive reviews?
- Display ratings - what difficulty ratings should be displayed after a correct answer? If you select "none", it will automatically review the question as "good" (a middle rating).
You can adjust these settings in the account edit page for all quizzes, or if you want to adjust them quiz-by-quiz, you can click "settings" on the quiz while in review mode, and adjust them there.
