Creating quizzes
If you have an account, you can create a new quiz from your dashboard. As of now, you can make three types of quizzes:
You must select the quiz type from the quiz creation menu, and you cannot change it afterwards. You can find more details about how to add each quiz in the corresponding section.
Remixing quizzes
Additionally, if you want to base your quiz on a pre-existing quiz, you can "remix" the quiz by pressing the "new remix" button next to the quiz's title. Remixes can be edited normally, although a couple things are worth noting:
Afterwards, you can edit the quiz just like normal, although a few additional things are worth noting:
- by default, if a question is updated in the original quiz, it will also be updated in your remix;
- if you choose to edit a question in your remix, it will create a new question, and will not auto-updated based on the original question anymore;
- if you want an edited question to be restored to follow the original quiz, this can be done - the UI for it has not been built yet, but you can ask for it in Discord.
General editing advice
If you ever made a mistake, you can undo any question edit at the top of the page before you submit your changes. Once changes have been submitted, undoing must be done manually. Similarly, if you regret undoing an edit, you can redo it at the top unless you have made changes since. You can also use the hotkeys ctrl+z and ctrl+shift+z for undoing and redoing, respectively.
Additionally, I recommend submitting pending changes regularly to ensure that you don't lose your work in case something goes wrong :)
